Training Background
Chris began his formal martial arts training training in
DART in 2007 and first began teaching
DART in 2009 as an assistant instructor. Chris has had experience of a number of other martial arts systems through cross training at seminars. He has helped instruct at
DART seminars in Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire and Suffolk. He gained his first Instructor qualification with Stephen Timperley as a Trident Self Defence in October 2010. In January 2011 he qualified as a Knife and Edged Weapons Awareness Programme (KEWAP) Instructor with the UKMAA. In October 2011 Chris was awarded his Level One Instructor qualification in
DART.
Personal
Outside his work in the Personal Safety Industry Chris is having a Gap Year before engaging in further study at University.
